I am a firm believer in encouraging others. God is always encouraging and uplifting us to find our true purpose and peace in Him.
I don’t know about you, but life happens fast, and things often seem to hit me out of left field. Like, out of nowhere! One day everything will seem to be fine and then, WHAM! I get kicked down. Maybe it’s from a cruel comment or a realization that a dream isn’t coming to fruition. Life can be really tough, even when it doesn’t seem obviously difficult.
Often times, we think of the “big stuff” that is tough, like deaths and divorces. While those are certainly discouraging and even depressing, they are not the only moments when life is hard. It’s tough even on the regular, mundane days. Life becomes difficult when we traverse disappointments or are simply affected by the damage of this world.
True encouragement comes from looking to God. He is our restorer and redeemer. So wherever you find yourself today, may you find these prayers to be a great source of comfort and truth. May they help rebuild in you whatever darkness has tried to steal. Christ claimed victory in the grave 2,000 years ago, and because of that we are free, loved, and redeemed. God, You are relentless. You seek after me like nobody has ever sought before. You destroy the lies about me. You restore my worth. You give me life. There is nothing that could ever separate your love from me. Your pursuit of my wholeness is a gorgeous testimony of who You are. I need more of this in my life. Thank you for restoring me when everything else is trying to tear me down. You are amazing. Amen.

God, this world is always trying to destroy what You have built in me and bought with a price. You are my God who drives out my enemies and places me on a seat of honor because I am your child.
