Bible Verses For Healing

The following Bible verses for healing were inspired by the epic journey I found myself on during the summer of 2017, when I found out my unborn baby girl had major complications and was given no chance of survival. In the midst of that trial, I found myself drawn to scripture, prayer, and worship. My husband and I were led to read the Gospel of Mark that summer, and that’s where God showed us some God lead us to some very important healing verses that you will find below, especially number 7 and 17.
I do want to stress that reading scripture for healing is not magical, or a formula for renewal. Rather, it’s about coming to God and seeking Him above everything else. Sometimes healing comes and sometimes healing doesn’t. Aaron and I have faced both sides of this coin, and we can say that we know God can bring good from any situation.
As we were seeking God last summer, we sought Him not His gifts, because we knew He was the ultimate goal. It is through God that we find ourselves and our true health. Even if we and those we care about aren’t cured of disease, illness, and death, God is still good! And God will bring good from the darkest nights. God is supreme and will do everything according to His plan and purpose. Have trust and faith that He indeed is good and capable of dealing with whatever pain you have.
Keep seeking Him for healing and healing will come. And to aid you on your journey, here are 20 Bible verses for healing. May you find our good God in these healing verses.
