Lord,
Where worry about money now exists, fill me instead with vision for your Spirit. Show me what you can do in my life here and now, regardless of how much I do or don’t have. You, O’ God, have this power and I relinquish my control to you. Amen.

God,
I wish I were able to do more good with my money, but I am just scraping by. I’d love to give more, but I don’t know how I could make that happen. Generosity comes from you, Lord, because you’ve given everything through your Son. I pray that you’ll show me how I can give more, even now. Amen.

Lord,
I’m afraid to check my bank account. I’m afraid to look in the mail. My email just holds reminders of debts I need to pay. It seems like I can’t look anywhere without seeing problems. God, can you give me new eyes to see the wealth of your presence with me? Amen.

God,
The world is filled with greed and corruption and I feel like taking the honest road gets you nowhere. I can’t look at my phone or look at the TV and not see evidence of how little I have and how much everyone else has. Show me what it looks like to live in this world in the place I am financially, and help me to make decisions that lead me to you. Amen.
20.
Lord,
I need to find a way to have more income. There seems to be no way around the simple reality that I just don’t have enough money to cover all that I need. I have no idea where extra finances might come from, and that’s why I turn to you. I need you, God, because I’m out of ideas.
21.
God,
I never expected to worry so much about money, but I have so many people and obligations depending on me. I need you to take this burden from me, for You are the only One who can save me from this. I need your power and love desperately. Amen.
