1 Timothy 6:10 NIV
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
Reflection
Focusing on money always diverts our attention from God, even if it is focusing on our money problems. The way your financial problems will be solved is through God’s guidance, wisdom, and love. He will show you what to do and He will open the doors that need to be open for you to be able to climb out of this pit. Money is not the problem, even though it feels as though it is, the problem is we are separated from God. Even though this world is not Heaven, we have the ability to lean on God through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in every believer. Depend on God and see what changes in your life.

1 Samuel 2:7 NIV
The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
Reflection
The Lord is the One who blesses. Blessings are sometimes tangible, but mostly the Lord blesses with virtues. Jesus clearly teaches that in the Beatitudes in Matthew 5. A blessed life is not one full of financial freedom, but one filled with joy, love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. When you are blessed with the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) you are indeed rich and your life follows a different trajectory. Yes, the Lord can and will help you with your financial problems, but He is deeply vested in your character, who you are becoming. Keep seek Him and you will find freedom like you have never known before.

Isaiah 41:13 NIV
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Reflection
God will not disappoint. He is with you and holding your hand right now. He cares deeply for you and what troubles your heart. There is nothing to fear in the Lord, not even creditor, bills, expenses. He is the Lord of everything in your life and He will get you through this rough patch.

Hebrews 13:6 NIV
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Reflection
The Lord will help you. Believe that and live in that truth. When everything seemed like the end for the disciples, Jesus rose from the Grave and saved the world. It seemed impossible, but nothing is impossible for God. Walk in that truth. Live in His presence and love, for He is your helper. He loves you and you have nothing to fear.

Psalm 40:17 NIV
But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.
Reflection
Sometimes, when we have a serious problem, we feel like we have messed up and are unreachable. But that is not true, it is a lie of the enemy. You are worthy of God’s love and goodness and He is right with you ready to give it Him, you simply must abide in Him. We all have nothing without God, for He is the source of our life. He is the source of a rich, full life filled with peace, joy, and love.
